Electrician Trainee

About the role:

We are looking for our next Trainee Electrician to join our Technical Services team. This hands-on role involves learning and developing electrician functions which include, construction, and installation of distribution substations, switchgear, kiosks and link boxes; repair and maintenance of pole and ground mounted electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers).

About you:

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• proven work experience, involving physical labour and experience with plant, machinery and hand tools.
• competent at understanding work plans and instructions.
• an ability to uses electronic devices, and to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems.
• a strong commitment to workplace and public safety
• a customer service focus with excellent communication skills
• effective written & oral communication skills
• a fantastic work ethic, a can-do attitude and great team player
• full class 1 licence (Class 2 a bonus).
