Appleby Farms is a Nelson based Ice Cream company that was established in in 2017.

Our aim is to be internationally renowned and awarded for our exceptional Appleby Farms ice cream. We are off to a great start winning several awards at the New Zealand Ice Cream Awards and the NZ Outstanding Food Producer Awards.

Due to recent growth and purchase of the Little Island Brand we have a newly established role of Warehousing & Logistics Officer to join our Operations Team.

Position Summary

You will be part of a small but highly motivated team dedicated to making exceptional ice cream safely, hygienically and efficiently at our modern ice-cream plant in Stoke, Nelson.

The role will involve a variety of warehouse and logistics related tasks and no day is ever the same

You will need to be real team player with excellent communication skills, be safety-minded, and have exceptional attention to detail.

Previous relevant experience in a warehouse and logistics role is required. Full NZ driver license and F endorsed forklift license is essential. Prior experience with Inventory management software (ERP) and full suite of Microsoft applications preferred.

The role will be permanent and full-time; typically 40 hours per week although there may be a requirement to work longer hours on some days and flexibility for occasional weekend work to fit with the production schedule of our demand-driven business.
