This role takes that service and goes to the next level, working with our customers to tailor their furnishings requirements in their homes to match exactly what they want through our Made 2 Measure offering.

We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and driven sales consultant to join our team and cover our Rotorua & Tauranga territories.

We are looking for an energetic individual who has a passion for furnishings and a hunger for sales.

This role is responsible for working with customers to provide both in-store and in-home advice and service for furnishings, utilising an extensive range of fabrics and window products that are available for demonstration.

As a retail based sales role, the regular working days include 1 weekend day.

Please note, this is a strongly commission based role.

What you would do:

  • Both assist in store and visit customer's homes to provide product information advice
  • Measure and quote for the furnishings requirements
  • Manage the end to end process from order through to installation
  • Work with the dedicated stores furnishings team to ensure all administrative duties are complete
  • Actively promote the Made 2 Measure business

What you need to bring:

  • Good background in sales
  • Previous Soft Furnishings experience is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be a self-motivated, high achiever
  • Strong customer and team focus
  • Solutions based mindset
  • Good understanding of a retail environment
  • Focused on exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Computer literacy
