Café Manager – Sach Lakhvir Limited

Location: Waikato, New Zealand

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 30–35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $30–$50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

Sach Lakhvir Limited is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Café Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café located in Waikato. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, team leadership, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Supervise, train, and motivate café staff to ensure high standards of service
  • Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality control
  • Manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
  • Monitor sales, budgets, and cost control to achieve business targets
  • Create staff rosters and manage shift coverage
  • Drive customer satisfaction and a welcoming café atmosphere

Requirements

  • Level 4 qualification or 2 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in a café or hospitality management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of café operations, food safety, and customer service
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure
  • Barista or food preparation experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
  • Right to work in New Zealand
