We're on the lookout for a quick-thinking problem solver to join our team of Electricians who specialise in Commercial Kitchen Repairs  At Aotea Electric Southern, we have a wide range of loyal customers across Dunedin, from large Restaurants to Hotels, Supermarkets to Cafes, and Bakeries.  We troubleshoot, service and repair, working directly with Kitchen Managers and Café Owners to reach a fast, reliable fix that gets their Kitchen back up and running.

This is a great opportunity to either bring your existing experience and skills in Kitchen Equipment Repairs, or to upskill and try something new, with training provided.  This is an autonomous role out on the field, with Van, Cellphone and full PPE provided.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Electrical installations, repairs, fault finding, and testing.
  • Acting as the on-site contact for customers.
  • Managing materials efficiently.
  • Upholding high health & safety standards.
  • Participating in an on-call roster.

What You'll Need

  • NZ Electrical Registration and current practicing licence or Electrical Service Technician (EST).
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence.
  • Keen interest in Commercial Kitchen Equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
