Office Administrator

We are a large urban school seeking another Office Administrator / Secretary to join our Administration Team.
Previous experience in an admin or school office role would be an advantage but is not a requirement. If you have strong organisational, time management and communication skills, along with an eye for detail, and want to join our team providing the smooth running of our school office, we welcome your application.
This is a full time position during School Term time only, Mon-Fri, 8am to 3.30pm.
Start date is negotiable, immediate start available to the right candidate.
Duties are varied and include:
- Reception
- General Office Administration
- Student Enrolments
- First Aid and Student Wellbeing
- Payroll and HR Admin
- Principal's PA Secretary
The successful applicant must have:
- experience relating to children in either a paid or voluntary capacity
- the ability to maintain confidentiality
- a professional, friendly telephone manner
- accuracy with figures and data entry
- the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- experience using Word and Excel
A current first aid certificate is desirable but training will be given.
The terms and conditions of employment are as per a collective employment agreement for Support Staff in Schools. The hourly rate of pay will consider the applicant's relevant skills and experience.
