Qualifications & experience

  • 12mths+ food handling experience (commercial kitchen, food manufacturing)
  • Appreciation of general food manufacturing requirements; FSQ, batch and RM management, FIFO, general hygiene, H&S
  • Ability to demonstrate dexterity and ability to do manual jobs quickly
  • Physically able to work on feet and manage 25kg weights
  • Detail-oriented, can follow directions

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Learn and work across all aspects of our chocolate-making process (cocoa bean quality control, bean roasting, refining/conching, tempering/molding, packaging) to ensure product quality and process efficiency requirements are met
  • Advocating for useful changes within Production processes
  • General cleaning, equipment cleaning and maintenance
  • Any other reasonable operational tasks that support WCF
  • Accurate recording of Production tasks
