He aha te mahi? What's the role?We are looking for a People Advisor to join us on a fixed term contract in Mount Maunganui. This role is central to delivering exceptional HR support and ensuring smooth, efficient people operations. Responsibilities include managing onboarding and employee life cycle activities, providing expert guidance on people-related queries, and offering administrative support to People Business Partners and the wider business. The focus is on creating a seamless employee experience and enabling leaders to perform at their best.
This is a transformative time for the team as HR ServiceNow - a digital ticketing and knowledge base platform - is being introduced to revolutionize People Services delivery. The People Advisor position will be instrumental in supporting the implementation and ongoing operation of this innovative solution, driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and helping the business reduce low-value queries to enhance overall employee experience.
Please note this is a 18 month fixed term contract.
Key Accountabilities Prepare documentation for people-related activities, including employment agreements, variations, certificates, terminations, secondments, and global transfers. Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, visas, global mobility, and employee benefits, including insurance and fleet management. Respond to employee and leader queries via the People mailbox and HR ServiceNow, ensuring timely and accurate support. Support annual people cycles such as performance reviews and remuneration processes, while maintaining accurate employee records and compliance. Partner with People Business Partners to deploy initiatives and contribute to process improvements, policy updates, and handbook enhancements. Effectively manage data input, employee movements and updates to our HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) to ensure data integrity. Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and purchase orders. Champion digital tools and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, maintain data integrity, and enhance the employee experience. Collaborate across global operations, primarily NZ and US, and flex to support projects and team priorities as needed. Ko wai koe? Who are you?We are looking for a results-driven individual who has a proven track record in HR administration and employment contract management and you thrives in fast-paced environments. You will also have:
A minimum of three years HR coordination experience with a solid understanding of HR principles and processes including exposure to visa support and compliance Proficiency with HRIS systems and strong Excel skills Digital mindset with a focus on process improvement and innovation Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or similar, or relevant equivalent experience Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and HR ServiceNow is a bonus.
