All Trades Contract Services are looking for an experienced Muritec CNC Machine Operator to work with our client in the Wellington Region

Due to the nature of the industry, there could be the requirement for onsite work outside of Wellington.

About the role:

  • Starting wage of $30.00 per hour

  • Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week

  • Must be available to work weekends

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Operate Muritec CNC Machines and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending, punching or sawing of metal products as instructed by supervisor.

  • Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings;

  • diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment;

  • may erect machines and equipment on-site.

Must have at least 3 years experience working with Muritec CNC Machines.

Applicants should either have NZ Citizenship/Residency or a valid work visa.
