Patent Agent

Our client, a global leader in the oil & gas sector, is seeking an experienced Patent Agent for a fixed‑term contract. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work as part of their wider international team on patent applications to US or European standards.

Reporting through to the U.S. you will gain unique exposure to a high-profile, multinational organisation working as a patent agent to draft applications and get those applications through the examination process.

What you'll do:

• Draft and file patent applications aligned with US and/or European standards
• Provide technical and strategic advice on patent portfolio management
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and patent offices across multiple jurisdictions

What we're looking for:

• Substantial experience drafting applications including to US or European patent standards
• Technically trained, non‑lawyer patent agent (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment
