This role is a Fixed Term Contract till June 2028 and will support the successful execution of Digital Infrastructure programmes that deliver Digital and ICT assets into Auckland Airport construction programmes. It will also be a champion of continuous improvement and project management principles.

About the role:

This Role will work directly with Programme and Project Managers to organise and administer programme objectives, reports, controls and information. It is crucial to ensure that all elements of the project are well-coordinated and managed.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting Project Managers with procurement of hardware and equipment, arranging quotes and purchase orders, managing vendors and suppliers, logistics and supply chain.

  • Arrange cost and time estimates to support budget and programme financial forecasts.

  • Create and maintain organised, logical document structures so documents can be easily found and used.
  • Providing clear and effective communications to stakeholders in various forums, and written channels.
  • Manage the Action register for interproject dependencies, supporting the Programme Manager to resolve dependency questions and issues.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues within your area of responsibility
  • Support the Programme Manager in achieving reporting deadlines.
  • Producing regular reports, and those required on an ad hoc basis as determined by the Programme Manager or Delivery Lead.
  • Provide ad hoc support with documentation management and sourcing.
  • Proactively engaging with stakeholders to pave the way for smooth and effective projects or programme delivery.

What you'll bring to the role:

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Programme Management or similar.
  • Minimum 5-6 years' experience level (PMO, Coordination, Project Coordination)
  • Operational business experience / understanding of digital technical terms.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Programme and Project Management disciplines
  • Problem identification, analysis and resolution
  • Report production and distribution
  • Ability to work in a changing environment autonomously and with minimum direction.
  • Demonstrated experience managing supply chain and logistics, from supplier engagement and quoting, raising and managing PO's, logistics management, good receipting, stock management and control of hardware and equipment.
