About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Executive to join a great team in our Head Office in New Plymouth, Taranaki. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to promote the wide range of products for Waterworks. The role is a key player in driving business growth through lead generation.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising
  • Create engaging and impactful content such as blog posts, website copy, social media posts, and marketing collateral
  • Analyse marketing performance data and provide insights to optimise campaigns and improve ROI
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts and support lead generation initiatives
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our marketing strategies
  • Manage and maintain our online presence, including the company website and social media profiles
  • Support the planning and organisation of events, webinars, tradeshows and other marketing activities
  • Continual database management
  • Branding responsibility ensuring key brand messages are consistent
  • Co-ordination of offshore support team
  • Attending events and shows on behalf of the company (NZ only) which involves some travel

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a marketing executive, preferably in a wide range of marketing functions.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive messaging
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and analytics
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience of Hubspot would be preferred
