About the role:

We are looking for an experienced lawyer/legal executive with 4+ years' experience in conveyancing in New Zealand to look after conveyancing and property files, while one of our associates is away on maternity leave.

You will be looking after conveyancing files from start to finish, including conducting pre-purchase reviews of the agreement, title, LIM and other property documents.  We take particular pains in ensuring that we conduct our files with the utmost care and skill, whilst providing clear and jargon free advice to our clients.

We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment, with a small and tight-knit team.  Our files are largely paperless so the ability to conduct your files digitally is ideal.

About you / what we are looking for in this role:

· Solicitor/Registered Legal Executive with 4+ years' experience in conveyancing

· Ability to handle files confidently from start to finish.

· Experience with trusts, enduring powers of attorney, wills and estate administration is preferred but not essential.

· Experience with subdivisions/property developments would also be a bonus.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to form strong relationships with our valued clients.

· A practical and critical thinker and keen attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as the need arises.

· Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook.
