We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, problem solving and contributing to the success of manufacturing and design projects.

What you'll be doing:

· Creating, maintaining and managing technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks

· Convert SolidWorks data into DFX files that feed directly into production machinery

· Ensure accurate design to production workflow

· Closely collaborate with Production Manager, Project Managers and Staff

Skills & experience we need from you:

·       Extensive proven experience of 3-4 years' using SolidWorks for design and drafting (essential)

·       Preferred experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

·       Certificate, Diploma or Degree in CAD Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field

·       Strong understanding of DFX conversion and CNC machine integration

·       Excellent technical drawing and geometric dimensioning skills

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

· Proven organisational and time management capabilities to consistently meet deadlines

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
