ROLE SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking applications for a term fixed term, part-time (32 hours per week)
Art Teacher
to join our incredible team. ACG Parnell College is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Parnell, Auckland. We cater for students in Years 0-13, delivering the Cambridge Curriculums.

We require an experienced Art Teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for students' individual needs. The successful applicant will enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, have experience in teaching visual arts and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school. The position will commence in Jan 2026 and finish April 2026. Address your application letter to The Principal, Mr Damian Watson.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure you create an engaging learning environment.
  • Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
  • Participate in wider school activities.
  • Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
  • Experience in teaching art curriculum to a high standard.
  • Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
  • Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
