Auckland or Wellington based.

What we are seeking:
We are seeking an exceptional Tax Manager to join our growing tech-enabled business. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational services business in New Zealand. You will be a self-starter who is driven to take ownership of the tax management functions for products that Adminis supports.
From hands-on operational execution to compliance, this role will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and insightful reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Tax Management
- Deliver high-quality tax advice on products, transactions, and business initiatives
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and governance frameworks
- Monitor new tax developments and communicate impacts to the business
- Manage key relationships with the IRD, external advisors, and senior leaders
- IR registration of new PIE entities
Tax Reporting
- Oversee monthly IR WHT tax reporting
- Oversee IR PIE tax reporting and compliance
- Oversee international tax reporting via sub-custodians
Compliance
- Review and test inward and outward tax data transition
- Ensure accurate tax treatment of products on the platform (both PIE & non-PIE)
- Assist with treatment & accuracy of on-boarded client data in regard to tax
- Review and responding to client tax enquiries in regard to reporting
Process Improvement & Technology
- Drive automation and process efficiency in operations, leveraging the benefits of technology solutions (including AI)
- Support the design and implementation of scalable tax processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Review and sign off tax changes within the system
