About the role

As our HondaCare Consultant, you will have a diverse portfolio of managing inbound and outbound calls, web and email contact for Honda customers. As the first point of contact, you will have the opportunity to showcase your excellent interpersonal skills, diligence, outstanding customer service, and focus on achieving targets and results. This is an office-based role in Newmarket.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to external and internal Honda customers.
  • Provide first-line response to all customer contact through multiple channels including phone, email, SMS and webchat.
  • Make outbound calls to secure service bookings for Honda Stores, achieving monthly targets.
  • Facilitate ongoing prospect management and progress reporting.
  • Maintain Honda's image and market perception by promoting Honda and its products.
  • Coordinate between Honda customers, Honda Departments and Honda outlets to ensure consistent delivery of service standards throughout the business.
  • Promote teamwork, and work toward achieving team, personal, and company targets.
  • Maximise the quality of data held within the Honda Information System (HIS) and resolve duplicate customers from system reports.
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • A positive and respectful attitude, even when dealing with difficult or dissatisfied customers
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Passion for outstanding customer service and passion for winning
  • Outbound phone sales experience, with a desire to achieve targets and exceed expectation
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability and desire to work across a wide business scope
  • Proven employment record in a customer service or phone sales role
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral with a strong command of English
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
