Join our high-flying Wind Division as a local Industrial Electrician on a fixed-term role from December 2025 until July 2026. We're looking for someone with 2+ years' experience as an Industrial Electrician. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, fix and install electrical and hydraulic systems using cutting-edge tools and equipment.
  • Handle cable work, pulling, and terminations including at heights
  • Work safely at heights around cranes and turbines, spotting and reducing hazards
  • Keep jobs running smoothly with accurate records, schedules, and daily diaries
  • Use tools and machines, (EWP, Telehandler, Forklift etc.) safely and efficiently
  • Communicate clearly on 2-way radios with your on-site crew
  • Work with mechanical & rigging/crane team to safely prepare and install Wind Turbine Components

About You

  • Preference for qualified Electricians registered with the NZ Electrical Workers Board
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrician; experience with cranes or wind turbines preferred
  • Skilled in cable work, cable pulling, and termination
  • GWO training preferred but note essential, we can support you in obtaining this
  • Vestas wind turbine experience an advantage, but not essential
  • Physically fit: able to climb 30m ladders, 80–125m towers, and lift 25kg
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Current New Zealand driver's licence (or international equivalent)
