The Role
We are looking for an excellent candidate to fill a cleaning position at Cook Brothers Hospitality Group. We have 4 venues across Auckland - Mr Murdoch's, Freeman & Grey, The Glass Goose, and La Zeppa. Our Head Office is also located opposite the Sky Tower The primary objective of this role is to keep our restaurants and bars looking spotless, and to keep our Head Office in excellent condition.

You will be working 4 days a week (Friday to Monday) for approximately hours per week. You will need to have your own vehicle as you will be working across all our venues and Head Office - the great news is that all our venues are only a short 5 minute drive away from each other Working hours will be between 3am to 11am.

This role may work well for a duo - husband/wife, partners, or friends

Skills / Experience

  • A keen eye for detail
  • High cleaning standards
  • Can work autonomously
  • Can take onboard constructive feedback
  • Must be physically fit as the cleaning equipment can be heavy
  • Ability to follow instructions as there will be different requirements for each venue

You will:

  • Execute our cleaning procedures to a very high standard at each of our Auckland venues
  • Use a battery powered floor polisher to scrub and polish all floors
  • Use a high powered vacuum cleaner to remove debris from hard to reach places
  • Complete ad hoc cleaning tasks as required to keep the venues looking superb
  • Heavy lifting of cleaning equipment will be required
