Cleanroom Technician

iMIX is a fast-growing company, compounding chemotherapy treatment for patients across New Zealand. We are part of the Canopy Healthcare Group, comprising 22 diagnostic clinics, 8 oncology clinics, a private breast surgical and diagnostic centre, making us the largest North Island diagnostic provider and the largest private medical oncology provider in New Zealand.

We are looking to welcome a 2 Cleanroom Technicians to our Napier based cleanroom team.

Your key responsibilities as a Technician:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for the cleanrooms to eliminate any errors prior to compounding
• Product picking, preparing and second checking of orders ready for pharmaceutical compounding
• Decontamination of consumables and products
• Compounding drugs using the aseptic technique
• Comply with the good manufacturing practices (GMP) standards.

About you:

You are someone who understands what working in a highly regulated environment is like or have previously worked with laboratory processes. You will have a high level of attention to detail with an ability to find and resolve errors quickly and great concentration skills. You have a methodical approach to your work, with a willingness to learn and use your initiative. Best of all, you love working in a team environment.
