About the Role

As our Café Chef, you'll take ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, creativity and efficiency. You'll be working closely with the manager and front-of-house team to deliver a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to café standards
  • Manage food preparation, portioning, and presentation
  • Assist in designing and updating menus and daily specials
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and hygiene standards (Food Control Plan compliance)
  • Monitor stock levels, control food costs and reduce wastage
  • Train and support kitchen staff as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen at all times
