Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Wellington * Play a key role in enhancing franchisee performance with an industry-leading brand. * Stretch your sales operations leadership skills and business growth mindset. * National role with travel throughout New Zealand. Quinovic Property Management, New Zealand's largest independent residential property management company, is seeking a Franchise Development Manager to join their Wellington-based Group office. This business leadership position offers you the chance to shape the future of a respected national brand by supporting franchisees, driving operational excellence, and expanding the Quinovic footprint across the country.

As the Franchise Development Manager, you will work closely with both established and prospective franchisees to ensure their ongoing success. Quinovic is known for its commitment to professional service, strong relationships, and exceeding expectations in the property market. If you are passionate about business performance, coaching and making a tangible impact on businesses nationwide, this is your opportunity to contribute directly to the continued success of a market leader.

Position Purpose
Your day-to-day activities will involve working closely with franchisees to optimise their business operations through expert advice on efficiency improvements, service enhancements, and profitability strategies. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities by researching potential markets and guiding prospective partners through the entire franchising process.

  • Conduct comprehensive performance reviews with franchisees, identifying areas for improvement and collaboratively developing actionable plans for growth.
  • Work closely with franchisees to implement tailored business development strategies that reflect local market conditions and opportunities.
  • Leverage insights from across the Quinovic network to share best practice and drive consistent success among all franchise partners.
  • Ensure all franchise locations maintain compliance with relevant legislation such as the Residential Tenancies Act and Healthy Homes Standards as well as upholding brand guidelines.
  • Analyse financial data from individual franchises to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and offer financial coaching on cost management and revenue maximisation.
  • Identify new market opportunities by conducting research, generating leads, presenting the Quinovic franchise model, and guiding prospective franchisees through every stage of the sales process.
  • Build trust-based relationships with franchisees as their primary point of contact, offering ongoing support, advice, and resources for their continued success.

What You Bring
Your ability to nurture relationships through empathetic communication will set you apart as someone who can guide others towards shared goals while respecting individual perspectives. Experience in business development or sales - particularly within franchising - will allow you to identify new opportunities confidently while supporting existing partners' ambitions. An understanding of property management operations or similar service-based industries is preferred, but not essential. Your consultative style means you listen carefully before offering advice; this sensitivity helps build rapport quickly even when addressing challenging issues.

This is a national role with an expectation of availability for regular travel throughout New Zealand.

Quinovic Property Management stands out as New Zealand's premier independent residential property management company thanks to its unwavering commitment to professionalism and comprehensive service delivery innovation within the sector - and above all else its people-first philosophy. With over 35 established franchises nationwide Quinovic has built its reputation on nurturing long-term relationships based on mutual respect and shared ambition between Group office staff, franchisees and clients alike.
