About the Role
We have a full-time permanent opportunity available as a Programme Manager to provide leadership and programme management to a group of National Clinical Networks. The National Clinical Networks Programme Manager will have excellent relationship skills. The role will work closely with co-leads and will be expected to develop excellent working relationships with clinical network co-leads and members. The role will also work closely with key Health NZ teams including Planning, Funding and Outcomes Teams Regional teams, data teams and commissioning teams identifying how clinical networks can form 'Team of teams' approaches across the organisation and the wider health system including primary care.
The role will be accountable for both directly implementing initiatives as well as driving change through programme management and strategic relationships with other Health NZ teams and external providers.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This role reports directly to the Director, National Clinical Networks and sits within the Office of the Chief Clinical Officer. The Programme Manager will provide leadership and programme management support to a group of National Clinical Networks. This is a strategic role, and you will be responsible for the establishment and development of National Clinical Networks. Working with the relevant Clinical Co-Leads and other stakeholders to define Network goals, objectives and outcomes as well as developing and overseeing the delivery of the Network work programme.

- A relevant graduate or post-graduate qualification
- Hospital and / or wider health system delivery experience of 5 or more years
- Knowledge of programme and project management methodologies
- The highest standards of personal, professional and institutional behaviour through commitment, loyalty and integrity
- Proven experience successfully leading large diverse teams through change and achieving improved results while navigating a highly nuanced and complex system
- Ability to take care of own physical and mental wellbeing, including having the resilience and stamina to go the distance
- The ability to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve the wider HSS vision, purpose and goals
