- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation at all times.
- Handle guest issues and complaints quickly and professionally, turning problems into positive experiences.
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback, and take action to continually improve scores.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and roster housekeeping, front office, and maintenance staff.
- Set clear expectations, hold people accountable, and support them to perform at a high standard.

About You
You're someone who:
- Is hungry to prove yourself and build a track record of results.
- Works well under pressure – busy days, unexpected problems, and full houses don't scare you.
- Is decisive and practical – you see a problem and fix it, instead of just talking about it.
- Enjoys being visible and active on the property, not hiding in an office.
- Is comfortable dealing with guests, staff, and owners directly.
- Is organised, reliable, and willing to roll up your sleeves – from jumping into reception at peak times to checking rooms if needed.
Experience & Skills (ideal but flexible for the right person)
- Previous experience in motels/hotels/hospitality or similar operational management.
- Experience leading a team (even small teams).
- Confident using property management systems, email, and basic spreadsheets – enough to do the job, but not relying on the screen as your "comfort zone".
- Strong communication skills and good written English.
This Role Will Suit Someone Who…
- Wants responsibility early, not "one day in five years".
- Wants to work directly with owners/shareholders and be listened to.
- Has ideas about how to improve operations, guest experience, or revenue – and wants the freedom to try them.
- Is not afraid of long or intense days when required, especially in busy periods.
- Takes pride in seeing a property run smoothly under their leadership.
