About the role

As the Operations Coordinator, you run daily operations, manage scheduling and dispatch, deliver exceptional customer service, and keep the workflow moving. You will collaborate closely with The Office Manager and the wider team to ensure every job is executed smoothly.

The role is Monday to Friday and can be full time: 7.45am - 4.30pm or part time: with a later start and finishing at 4.30pm.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Run dispatch, scheduling, and daily logistics
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers face-to-face & via email/phone enquiries
  • Assign jobs to drivers based on timing, workload & vehicle type
  • Operate systems with accuracy, consistency & attention to detail
  • Keep ahead of workflow changes; respond quickly under pressure

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven customer service experience with natural empathy
  • Confident decision maker who thrives under pressure
  • Strong multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
  • Solid computer and administration capability
  • Basic vehicle/mechanical understanding would be beneficial
