Cleaner (FT)

The Role

We are looking for an excellent candidate to fill a full-time cleaning position at Cook Brothers Hospitality Group. We have 4 venues across Auckland - Mr Murdoch's, Freeman & Grey, The Glass Goose, and La Zeppa. The primary objective of this role is to keep our restaurants and bars looking spotless

This role is 40 hours per week, 5 days a week (Wednesday to Sunday) across all 4 sites. We are looking at 8 hour days for this role. You must have your own vehicle to transport equipment between the sites - the great news is that all our venues are only a short 5 minute drive away from each other

Skills / Experience

• A keen eye for detail
• High cleaning standards
• Can work autonomously
• Can take onboard constructive feedback
• Must be physically fit as the cleaning equipment can be heavy
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions as there will be different requirements for each venue
• You must have your own vehicle

You will:

• Execute our cleaning procedures to a very high standard at each of our Auckland venues
• Use a battery powered floor polisher to scrub and polish all floors
• Use a high powered vacuum cleaner to remove debris from hard to reach places
• Complete ad hoc cleaning tasks as required to keep the venues looking superb
• Heavy lifting of cleaning equipment will be required (around 12kgs up and down stairs)
