Experienced Digger Operator / Civil Construction Worker

Location: Whangārei & Northland region

Pay rate: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced digger operator to join our team working on a range of civil construction projects across Northland. The role involves operating excavators and assisting with site works including trenching, drainage, foundations, boxing and general earthworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate diggers and other machinery safely and efficiently
  • Carry out general civil works and assist the crew where needed
  • Follow site plans and specifications
  • Maintain machinery and tools to a high standard
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a digger operator in civil construction
  • WTR licence endorsements are preferred
  • Good attitude, reliability, and teamwork are essential
  • Strong understanding of site safety and work quality
