We are seeking an experienced and innovative Creative Director to develop advertising campaigns and strategies to assist in driving sales. This role is perfect for a creative marketing professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands the power of branding, storytelling, and digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Advertising
Support the development of digital strategies to grow consumer awareness, engagement, and increase bookings.
Stay up to date with market trends and customer insights to drive brand positioning and awareness.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and the competitive landscape.
Interpret and predict current and future consumer trends.
Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimise engagement and achieve business goals.
Content Creation & Design
Create compelling, on-brand content - graphics, video clips, imagery - for websites and social platforms.
Capture high quality photography for website content.
Assist in designing and producing a range of print materials - including brochures, posters, and signage - using tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Canva, ensuring all assets are brand-aligned and print-ready.
Refresh and repurpose existing assets and create new ones that reflect evolving brand direction.
Design email newsletters, web banners, digital ads, and promotional materials.
Embed key brand messaging and stories across all marketing initiatives.
Website, socials and eCommerce
Oversee SEO, improving visibility, organic performance and paid digital advertising efforts.
Establish new social media platforms while maintaining and growing existing ones.
Collaboration & Communication
Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners
Implement B2B email marketing campaigns to enhance stakeholder engagement and retention.
Work closely with operations, sales, and systems teams to align marketing with business needs.
Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities within the Queenstown tourism industry.
Lead internal communications to ensure the company stays informed about ongoing marketing initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Hands-on experience in SEO, advertising, social media and content creation.
Strong branding expertise with the ability to create and implement a unified marketing vision.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, preferably within tourism or adventure sports.
Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems and analytics platforms.
Degree in creative field.
5+ year's experience in the creative industry. (Content Creation/Photography/Marketing/Design)
Minimum 1+ year's experience in social media marketing.
Execute projects based on company's design briefs.
A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual identity.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
