With strong plans for growth, we are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our Wellington based Head Office team as our Marketing Assistant to help us take our homegrown brand to the next level.

The key responsibilities of this role include the coordination and project management of events, coordination of delivery of campaigns, and providing marketing support to our Marketing Supervisor and the Geeks on Wheels Management team.

Your role will encompass:

§  Event coordination.

§  Organising market research.

§  Writing press releases, blog articles and online content.

§  Assisting the Marketing Supervisor in writing reports and analysing data.

§  Helping to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns.

§  Execution of all social media activities.

§  Identifying insights from results to inform future campaigns.

§  Creating and appearing in social media content for channels such as Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.

§  Various admin and office management tasks as requested.

§  Communicating with agencies/clients.

To succeed in this role, you will:

§  Have a tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or at least two years experience in a similar role.

§  Be articulate with meticulous attention to detail.

§  Be organised and creative.

§  Have outstanding English writing and communication skills

§  Have a strong understanding of current marketing principles / activities and their application with an innovate approach.

§  A current drivers license is preferred

§  A "wow" attitude and a passion to help us with our growth
