We're Hiring – Part-Time Barista & Pastry Chef | St Lukes, Auckland

Our café is located in St Lukes, an Asian fusion café offering creative brunch, coffee, and bakery selections. We're looking for two passionate team members to join us — one Part-Time Barista and one Part-Time Pastry Chef.

Both roles have the potential to become full-time positions for the right person.

What we're looking for:

Part-Time Pastry Chef

  1. Minimum 2 years of full-time experience
  2. Able to work independently with good time management.
  3. Passionate about baking and developing new products based on current food trends.
  4. Enjoys experimenting with new ingredients and flavours.
  5. Creative and detail-oriented with a focus on presentation and quality.
  6. Clean, reliable, and motivated.
  7. Experience with cake, pastry or bread making preferred.

Part-Time Barista (Must be available on Mondays and weekends)

  1. Minimum 2 years of full-time barista experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of coffee beans and brewing related, able to answer customer questions confidently.
  3. Skilled in latte art with a good sense of presentation.
  4. Friendly, communicative, and enjoys chatting with customers.
  5. Clean, punctual, and attentive to detail.
  6. Able to adjust coffee taste based on customer preference.
  7. Experience in coffee bean roasting or machine maintenance is a plus.
