At Bread & Butter, we're on a mission to make real sourdough accessible to everyone — proper bread made with just flour, water, and salt, baked fresh every day. We believe good bread should be for every table, not just the fancy ones.
We're looking for a skilled baker to join our growing team as we expand production and distribution across Auckland. You'll be part of a small, passionate crew that values quality, consistency, and doing things the right way — slow fermentation, clean ingredients, and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
- Mix, shape, and bake a range of sourdough and everyday breads
- Maintain production schedules and ensure quality standards are met
- Operate and clean baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team of bakers and packers
- Contribute to continuous improvement in our new, modern production setup
What We're Looking For
- Experience in artisan or commercial bread baking (sourdough experience a big plus)
- A strong work ethic and ability to work early shifts
- Attention to detail and pride in producing great food
- Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
- NZ work rights and ability to travel to our production site
