ROLE SUMMARY:
ACG Parnell College is a Cambridge International School and with our senior school delivering IGCSE and A-Level courses, experience with delivering an international qualification would be an advantage but not essential. Located in Parnell, Auckland,we are a leading, independent, coeducational school from Preschool to Year 13. Our teachers benefit from a highly resourced and modern teaching environment.

An opportunity has arisen to join the secondary faculty at ACG Parnell College. We require additional resourcing within the Computer Science department due to growth in the subject area, and this position will commence in Term 1, 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
  • Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
  • Participate in wider school activities.
  • Ensure students' welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Have NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching and tertiary qualifications.
  • Have experience in teaching Computer Science curriculum to a high standard.
  • Be well-prepared and inspire confidence in students and parents.
  • Be flexible, committed, professional, hard-working, and a team player.
