New Home Sales Consultant

About the Role

This is a rare chance to join an established, high-performing sales team as a New Home Consultant. You'll be the face of G.J. Gardner Franklin for your clients, guiding them through every step of the home-building journey, from first enquiry to contract signing. Working closely with in-house design, estimating and construction teams, you'll bring client ideas to life with confidence, care and a consultative approach.

You'll have a steady flow of inbound leads supported by marketing and brand awareness, but your real success comes from your own energy and initiative in building connections in your community, following up proactively and driving opportunities to grow your pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with potential homebuyers and understand their vision.

• Manage leads using HubSpot and turn enquiries into signed contracts.

• Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals and proactive outreach.

• Guide clients through plan selection, design customisation and pricing.

• Prepare and present contracts accurately and professionally.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams for smooth handovers into construction.

• Attend show home meetings, site visits and weekly team meetings.

Full-time role, typically Monday–Friday with rostered weekends (1 in 4) at the show home.

About You

You're motivated, confident and genuinely passionate about helping people achieve their dream home. You know that great sales come from trust, authenticity and follow-through. You thrive when building relationships and delivering results.

You'll bring:

• Proven success in relationship-based or consultative sales.

• Background in residential construction, real estate, or related fields (advantageous).

• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, question and guide clients.

• High EQ, resilience and self-motivation.

• Ability to interpret design concepts and architectural plans.

• Organised and confident using CRM tools (HubSpot experience an advantage).

• A driven, results-focused mindset with a collaborative approach, contributing actively to the team's success while pursuing your own sales goals.
