- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, servers, networks, printers, workstations, and related IT infrastructure.
- Design and maintain database architecture, including data structures, tables, dictionaries, and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all data master files.
- Monitor and manage the performance of systems, servers, databases, and networks, ensuring optimal reliability, security, and uptime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and communication infrastructure to minimize disruptions.
- Perform regular system and database maintenance tasks including backups, recovery procedures, and performance optimization, while enforcing data security and integrity controls.
- Implement and administer IT security measures such as antivirus protection, firewalls, access controls, and patch management to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Test, debug, and evaluate system and database upgrades, following approved quality assurance processes, tracking issues, and ensuring stable implementations.
- Take responsibility for the development, implementation, and management of disaster recovery plans, security protocols, and business continuity procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to select, install, and maintain software and security applications, and monitor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including system configurations, network diagrams, operational procedures, change logs, and user instructions.
- Provide end-user support and technical training to staff, ensuring efficient and secure use of all IT systems and resources.
- Plan and implement system automation processes to streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall IT efficiency.
- Continuously assess the current IT environment to identify future needs, and recommend enhancements in server, network, and storage infrastructure.
- Ensure the design and integration of IT components allow for cohesive performance, scalability, and compatibility within the overall system architecture.
- Deliver high-quality customer service, responding promptly and professionally to internal support requests and maintaining a user-focused approach in all interactions.
