About the Role | Te tūnga

We're looking for an experienced, people-focused Shop Manager to lead our busy Hospice Shop - a rewarding role where no two days are the same.

You'll need to stay organised, be calm under pressure, and keep the team and operations running smoothly. Retail experience is a plus, but your ability to connect with people and lead with confidence matters most.

Key Responsibilities | Ngā takohanga

  • Lead and support a team of amazing staff and volunteers
  • Manage day-to-day shop operations and stock handling - from donation to sale
  • Oversee budgets, reconcile daily takings, and maintain records
  • Plan shop promotions and build strong community connections

What We're Looking For | Te Manako

  • Minimum of 2 years in a management role
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Great organisational and process management ability
  • Confidence with financial and business tasks
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft 365)
  • A full NZ driver's licence
