The Role:
As the Director of Food and Beverage at Park Hyatt Auckland, you will lead the F&B operations across restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, and events. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and cultivating a high-performing team that reflects the Park Hyatt brand.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate a proactive and strategic approach to Food and Beverage operations, aligned with the Park Hyatt brand.
- Maximize outlet performance and guest satisfaction through innovative service and culinary excellence.
- Lead and inspire a team of outlet managers, and service professionals to deliver world-class hospitality.
- Manage relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Oversee purchasing, inventory, and cost control for food, beverage, and service ware.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to align F&B offerings with market demand and business goals.
- Plan and execute high-profile events, activations, and seasonal promotions.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Foster a culture of learning, accountability, and recognition within the F&B team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all outlets.
- Champion guest feedback and service metrics to continuously improve the guest experience.

The successful candidate will need to have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Director of F&B within a luxury hotel environment.
- Previous international experience in 5-Star property preferred.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, cost control, and financial planning.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in F&B systems such as POS, Envision, Birch street, and Micros.
- A passion for culinary innovation and guest-centric service.
- Ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- A self-starter who is highly driven, solutions-oriented, and detail-focused.
