About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Rangatū Electrical Ltd in the vibrant city of Rotorua, Bay of Plenty. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical projects within the local community.
What you'll be doing
- Undertake a range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks for industrial, commercial and residential properties
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed documentation of all work completed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
- Qualified Electrician with a current New Zealand Electrical Registration
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial and/or industrial setting
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to safety and a high standard of workmanship
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
