Hairdressers ( Multiple Vacancies)

BrowNZ Barber is seeking skilled and creative Hairdressers to join our professional

grooming team in the Taranaki region. The ideal candidates will have hands-on

experience in modern men's and women's hairstyling, cutting, and colouring techniques,

with a passion for client care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and assess hair/scalp

condition.

• Analyse clients' facial features and hair type to recommend suitable cuts and

styles.

• Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, clippers, razors, and other professional

tools.

• Style, straighten, and permanently wave hair using appropriate tools and

techniques.

• Apply hair colour, highlights, and lowlights using various colouring methods.
• Perform hair and scalp treatments, including deep conditioning, moisturising, and

massages.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools, workstations, and client areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser; OR

• A New Zealand Qualification (Level 4) or overseas equivalent qualification.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as rostered
