Experienced Barista and FOH

About the role

We are a busy grab-and-go cakery and coffee outlet, with 2 locations, Te Atatu and Westgate.

Wildflours' is seeking an experienced Barista and Front of House (FOH) team member to join our vibrant cakery and coffee shop in Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and customer-focused individual to showcase their barista and hospitality skills in our bubbly, grab and go store.

The Te Atatu store is a fantastic little suburban cakery, with a good clientele, so great customer service is important. A good sense of humour, great communication skills with anybody, and someone that can see if help is needed and will support other staff are all qualities that we are looking for.

Most of the hours will be there, with supporting the Westgate store when help is needed.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based beverages to our customers, using a variety of milks. Lattee art isn't a requirement, as it is a grab-and-go situation.
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring all customers receive a positive experience
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Supporting the team in delivering excellent service and creating a welcoming ambiance
• Helping set up food cabinets before opening

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' current experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and equipment operation. This experience must be current.
• Great customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to engage with customers
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently
• A team-oriented attitude and the flexibility to support other staff when needed
• Flexible to support other stores when needed
• Must be able to work in NZ and live in NZ now
• No work visa applicants
