Kaiser: Server

FOH Server / Bartender Position:

We are looking for an experienced Server/Bartender to join our team We have full-time and part-time roles available. Key tasks will include managing a section with full table service, making cocktails and serving delicious beer and providing both high levels of service and hospitality. An interest and understanding of craft beer is a huge bonus As a high-capacity venue, we are a fast-paced environment, and our staff will need to be able to communicate with both guests and management confidently. With each day bringing something different, being adaptable to the environment we are creating is a must

Our Key Requirements:

• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
• Knowledge and interest in craft beer is a positive
• Experience with a POS system is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in communicating in English.
• Ability to manage a busy section and communicate with the Manager when needed.
• Ability to follow an Order of Service and provide full table service to guests.

Availability:

• We have part-time positions available with the potential to move to full time. 
• The ability to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Candidates must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for the role. This is not suitable for those looking for sponsorship.

Having your LCQ or Duty Managers license is a bonus, as this position has the potential to grow in to being one of our key Supervisors, supporting the FOH, Bar and Duty Managers, alongside the opening and closing of the venue. 

Kaiser Brew Garden is located in the in heart of the Christchurch CBD upstairs at the always busy Riverside Market. We are a working microbrewery and craft beer bar that is dedicated to doing things well and looking after our guests.
