We're on the lookout for a Casual Morning Delivery Driver to join our team at Beattie Air - Christchurch's most trusted air-conditioning company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out and about, is confident behind the wheel, and doesn't mind a bit of manual work. Whether you're a current Uber or courier driver or simply looking for daytime work between 8am and 12pm — this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving a small flatbed truck to deliver and collect materials between our warehouse, suppliers, and job sites across Christchurch and Canterbury.
  • Loading and unloading items safely — some manual handling is required.
  • Helping out in the warehouse with stock organisation and goods receipting when needed.
  • Keeping the vehicle tidy, roadworthy, and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Representing Beattie Air in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • A full NZ driver's licence and clean driving record.
  • Confident operating a small flatbed truck (no special licence required).
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate loads.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with Christchurch and surrounding areas is a bonus.
  • Experience as a delivery, courier, or rideshare driver is an advantage — but not essential.
  • Experience with a forklift is an advantage – but not essential.

The Details

  • Casual position – 8am start, up to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Flexible daytime hours to suit your schedule.
  • Based at our Christchurch warehouse.
