The Dynamics Platform team is part of WorkSafe's Digital and Information Services unit, supporting WorkSafe to make smart technology choices and empower staff with practical tools and systems that harness the power of digital - helping create healthier, safer workplaces across Aotearoa.

About the role / Ō te tūranga

The Functional Consultant will take the lead in shaping and delivering enterprise business solutions within our cloud environment, using the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement related first party applications where applicable. This role is pivotal in driving the discovery, analysis, co-design, and implementation of solutions that meet complex business needs. The Functional Consultant will also play a key role in leading stakeholder engagement, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, develop models, and build prototypes.

What You'll Do/ Ko tōu ake mahi

• Provide expert advice and act as a technical lead, helping stakeholders use digital technologies to solve business challenges and meet their business objectives
• Lead all stages of the application life cycle including facilitating workshops, configuring the platform and customising it as required
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, working closely with business users to collaboratively design solutions and offer best-practice guidance throughout delivery
• Support and mentor team members in uplifting their capability, alongside the wider Digital team by sharing your expertise
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain momentum and deliver successful outcomes

What You'll Bring / Ko ngā pukenga ōu

• A minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement/CRM.
• Proven experience in a similar senior role within a large or complex organisation, demonstrating solution delivery capabilities
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform, showcasing your technical expertise and commitment to continuous learning

Salary range / Awhe utu

As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $101,509 to $133,454, and our expected starting base salary for the right person is from $101,509 to $112,157.  Note: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
