MRI Technologist wanted - join a growing team

We're seeking a skilled, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join a growing imaging team in the winterless north.

Based in Kerikeri, you'll operate new state-of-the-art MRI equipment, preparing and screening patients, producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care.

Reporting to a senior MIT Technologist and working closely with radiologists, you'll run appropriate imaging sequences, monitor image quality and ensure equipment safety standards and protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols
  • Patient care and comfort, ensuring diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain MRI equipment and report any technical issues
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support patient care
  • Uphold safety standards, incl. MRI screening and infection control
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately

Skills and Experience:

  • Registration with the New Zealand MRT Board
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • At least 12 months hands-on MRI experience in New Zealand
  • A strong clinical and technical foundation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
