As a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer here, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and contractors. What will you be doing?

Key elements of the role include:

  • Developing quality design and innovative solutions via 3D CAD design and modelling
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant structural and safety standards
  • Overseeing installation and commissioning - with a need to be hands on
  • Working with subcontractors and customers during the commissioning process
  • Preparing system requirements specification - liaising with customers, suppliers and staff
  • Remotely monitoring operational plants from our base to detect issues and remedy faults quickly

What will you bring?

Ideally, you will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar and bring with you a minimum of 5 years of onsite practical design experience and...

  • A high level of experience with 3D CAD packages (especially Solidworks)
  • Experience designing to meet engineering standards
  • Experience designing larger plant structures and equipment
  • Good organisation skills and an enthusiasm for learning new things
  • The ability to methodically work through complex technical challenges
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Any Project Management experience you have would be considered an advantage.
