He aha te tūnga I About the role

As a Nurse Prescriber at Te Whare o Rehua, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, whānau-centred care within a kaupapa Māori health setting. We are committed to supporting nurses to practise confidently at the top of their scope, with strong clinical leadership, collaboration, and professional development.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced clinicians, you will take a holistic approach to assessment and care. Your practice will include patient triage, clinical assessment, prescribing and treatment planning, and the provision of ongoing nursing care and support. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, community-focused mahi while making a tangible difference to whānau wellbeing.

So you can hit the ground running, we'd hope you would have the following skills:

· Registered Nurse Prescriber with current APC and prescribing endorsement in New Zealand

· Postgraduate qualifications in primary health care or a related field are desirable.

· The ability to engage meaningfully with whānau

· Practice cultural competency and cultural safety

· Knowledge and or willingness to learn Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga.
