As part of our friendly, welcoming legal team, your day-to-day would look like

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements for various stakeholders across the business.
• Providing legal advice to the business, including Tower claims and recovery teams
• Representing the legal function on key business projects
• Reviewing and advising on marketing collateral
• Interpreting, drafting and reviewing insurance policy wordings
• Assisting with claims responses
• Liaising with Tower's external legal advisers (as needed)

During your time with us, success will look like:

• Building trusted relationships across the business through clear, practical legal advice.
• Demonstrating strong ownership of legal matters with timely and accurate delivery.
• Contributing meaningfully to key projects and initiatives as well as to the BAU.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Solicitor holding a New Zealand practising certificate with a minimum of 4 years PQE with experience in major law firms or equivalent in- house roles (insurance/financial services experience preferred but not essential).
• The ability to deal with a wide range of legal issues while maintaining a consistently high level of service.
• A strong customer focus and take pride in building relationships with internal and external customers.
