ABOUT THE ROLE;

Our Butchery is renowned for providing customers with high quality cuts of meat at great value for money and with friendly personable service. It's a very fast-paced environment with the department processing tonnes of product every week You'll join a team committed to maintaining quality meat cuts and top presentation standards to our valued customers.

This role is fixed term until May 2026 covering maternity leave, working 24 hours per week on the following roster

• Thursday, Friday & Saturday 8am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining our high merchandising standards in the meat cases
• Rotation of stock & quality checks
• Working with department leaders to ensure stock levels are maintained
• Interacting with customers and assisting them with queries
  Assist with meat packing when required

What are we looking for;

• A committed and enthusiastic individual with a positive "lead by example" attitude.
• An understanding of production requirements within a high-volume FMCG/retail environment. The ability to work quickly to process large volumes of meat daily.
• Being able to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• A great work ethic, a reliable and supportive team member, with the ability to comply with our strict food safety and health and safety policies.
• Candidates must be able to work a weekend day each week.
• All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have current rights to work in New Zealand.
