We're looking for reliable and hardworking Yard Staff to join a busy trade supply yard. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in keeping a yard running smoothly, this could be the role for you

About the Role: As part of the team, you'll help keep the yard safe, organised, and efficient. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, operating equipment (if licensed), and assisting with general yard and depot operations.

Key Duties:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles
  • Building supply knowledge
  • Operating forklifts or other yard equipment (if licensed)
  • Organising and maintaining yard stock and materials
  • General yard maintenance and housekeeping
  • Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar hands-on role
  • Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Timber knowledge advantageous
