Vehicle Testing Officer (COF B)

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

  • Carrying out WOF and COF inspections in line with AA and NZTA standards

  • Producing accurate verbal and written reports on vehicle inspections

  • Providing excellent customer service and professional advice

  • Promoting relevant AA services and products that meet customer needs

  • Contributing to team targets and ensuring a safe, tidy, and compliant workspace

About You | Mōu

  • Minimum COFB Certification

  • Solid understanding of vehicle systems including suspension, brakes, safety equipment, and lighting

  • Great communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude

  • Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 5 preferred)

One of the following qualifications (or NZQA-validated equivalent):

  • 1. NZ Trade Certificate or Advanced Trade in Heavy Automotive

  • 2. National A-Grade Registration (Heavy Vehicles)

  • 3. NZ Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 4 or higher)
