Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Slalom Full time

Slalom is a global, human-centric business and technology consulting firm. We specialise in partnering with organisations that aspire to excellence, helping them tackle complex challenges and achieve transformative results through strategy, technology, and business transformation services. By prioritising people, Slalom creates a unique consulting experience, with a team of strategists and engineers delivering practical, end-to-end solutions that drive impactful outcomes for our clients. We empower people and organisations to dream bigger, move faster, and build better tomorrows for all.

About The Role
Our recruiting team is passionate about finding and hiring the very best talent across Australia and New Zealand. We're passionate about creating meaningful career opportunities that align with each candidate's strengths, aspirations, and values. At the same time, we play a critical role in shaping the future of Slalom, bringing in the people who will help us grow, innovate, and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

This is an exciting time to be part of our journey. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead recruitment across Slalom New Zealand's diverse capabilities—including Salesforce, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Strategy, and Engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruitment across the New Zealand capabilities, managing requisitions from intake through to close.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders and business stakeholders to deeply understand current and future hiring needs, and effectively manage those key relationships.
  • Strategically source and engage top-tier talent across consulting, technology, and business domains.
  • Drive recruitment efforts with a proactive approach: staying ahead of hiring needs and maintaining visibility across the different ecosystems you might recruit across.
  • Champion diversity hiring and inclusive practices across all recruitment touchpoints.
  • Represent Slalom at external events and within relevant professional communities (e.g., Salesforce, Data, Cloud, Strategy) to elevate our brand and attract talent.
  • Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines, especially for hard-to-fill or niche roles.
  • Actively contribute to internal engagement efforts, such as participating in or leading Slalom Communities and broader culture initiatives.
  • Partner with industry groups and professional networks across Slalom's core capabilities to expand reach and visibility.
  • Use data and insights to inform hiring decisions and report on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Collaborate with global and local TA peers on special projects and broader hiring initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruiting, ideally in a fast-paced consulting or product environment.
  • Demonstrated success hiring roles across multiple business units (e.g. Sales, Developers, Architects, Consultants) as well as other tech skill sets (e.g., engineering, cloud, data, automation).
  • Strong ability to build trusted partnerships and effectively manage key stakeholders.
  • A proactive and strategic approach to recruitment, with a genuine interest in the broader technology.
  • Active involvement in technology communities (such as Salesforce), whether through events, forums, or user groups.
  • Passion for innovation in recruitment, whether through technology, process improvement, or enhancing candidate experience.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of hiring.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics.

Deep connections, better outcome
We have deep relationships with leading technology partners and they love us for our innovative and outcome based approach. Our people are passionate about solving our clients problems using the tech that's the best solution for them. What's more, we're there to work side-by-side with our client teams to enable them for success long after we've gone. We're all about momentum that outlasts us.

Flexibility
Life is busy, and we understand that. Our team often juggles work, family, personal commitments, and crucial client obligations. We prioritise supporting our people in balancing what matters to them while ensuring we meet our client commitments. Flexibility is key, as we sometimes need to adapt to meet client needs. This way, our team can work on high-impact projects they'll love, knowing they have the flexibility to manage their personal and professional lives effectively.

People-first
Great solutions start with great people. At our employee-led company, your voice matters, and we love to hear your feedback. By leading with kindness, empathy, and striving for equity, we create better experiences for everyone. Our culture encourages passion, adventure, adaptability, and diverse thinking. Inclusion, diversity, and equity are our top priorities, empowering our team to be their best selves. Together, we can create a great future by working collaboratively and supporting each other.

What keeps us here?
Our New Zealand office knows the importance of a good work/life balance. We have the freedom to be ourselves when life gets in the way. We make a big effort to bring everyone together and allow space when space is needed. We believe in helping each other thrive in work and life and are proud to invest in benefits that include holistic well-being, meaningful allowances, and investment in our team's professional, technical, and personal growth.

It's an exciting time to be one of our foundational members, getting involved in setting up our uniquely Kiwi culture at Slalom NZ.
